President Jacob Zuma visited the Dullah Omar region of the Western Cape on Thursday. The region has been embroiled in a battle with its provincial leadership, which led to its disbandment and subsequent reinstatement after appealing to the NEC of the ANC. The region bussed in its members to support Zuma when he faced a motion of no confidence in Parliament last month. It is known to support Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma’s bid to become ANC President. Deputy Communications Minister Thandi Mahambehlala and Dullar Omar regional secretary JJ Tyhalisusu took the President around.
